Research Interests
Dr. Bethanie Hansen is a Professor and interim Associate Dean in the School of Arts, Humanities, and Education. She is an experienced educator, musician, conductor, clinician, public speaker, and coach, having worked with a variety of individuals and groups across the United States and in seven countries. She has been a professional educator for 29 years including 21 years in public schools directing band and music programs in Utah, California, and Idaho, 19 years in higher education, and 9 years as a professional coach.
Her primary research and presentation topics fall into four areas: Music education, Online education and andragogy, Coaching, and Higher Education Leadership.
