Research Interests
Dr. Bethanie Hansen is Associate Dean in the School of Arts, Humanities, and Education. She is an experienced educator, musician, conductor, clinician, public speaker, and coach, having worked with a variety of individuals and groups across the United States and in seven countries. She has been a professional educator for 30 years including 21 years in public schools directing band and music programs in Utah, California, and Idaho, 20 years in higher education, and 10 years as a professional coach.
Her primary research and presentation topics fall into four areas: Music education, Online education and andragogy, Coaching, and Higher Education Leadership. She is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) with the International Coaching Federation, and a National Board Certified Health and Wellbeing Coach (NBC-HWC).
